Monday: Use Positive Thinking to Combat Self-Doubt and Imposter Syndrome

Your DBC:

Today, choose a mantra that will empower you on your journey and help you overcome your self-doubt and write it down. Mine is “I’m unstoppable not because I don’t have failures or doubts, but because I keep going despite them!” Empowering, right?! Don’t worry, you don’t have to come up with yours on your own if you don’t want to – I borrowed mine. What’s important is that you choose one that feels “right” to you.

Helpful tips:

▪ Tip #1: Pick one that makes you FEEL inspired and really resonates with you. If it doesn’t stir a fire in you and you empathize with, keep looking for a better mantra.

▪ Tip #2: Write your new mantra down on sticky notes and place them in places where you will see them during your day like your bathroom mirror, refrigerator door, dashboard of your car, and more.

▪ Tip #3: Repeat your new mantra to yourself over and over. Better yet, record yourself saying it and listen to it over and over again until your subconscious remembers it.

Mantras:

  1. My self-worth is based on how well I take care of myself, not on societal trends

  2. I am capable of anything, there is nothing that I could not accomplish when I set my mind to it
